OPERATION DANE, 8 Young Women, 1 Infant Recovered, 2 Traffickers Arrested

Children's International Rescue Foundation Operators embedded with the Colombian National Police and Investigators from the Attorney General's Office worked together to infiltrate a criminal organization sexually exploiting adults and minors near the border of Venezuela. The team gathered sufficient evidence for arrest warrants for two traffickers and conducted a raid on June 12, 2024, recovering 8 women and a 7-month-old infant from the clutches of this organization. The operation was funded by donors in memory of Dane Angus who recently died in a vehicle crash and was passionate about anti-human trafficking efforts. We are grateful for your continued support which enables us to help protect children from organized crime.
