The Children's International Rescue Foundation (CIRF) investigators played a pivotal role in dismantling a transnational criminal organization trafficking children in Yopal, Colombia. CIRF operators, in close collaboration with Detective Darwin Gaviria Reyes of the Colombian National Police, national prosecutors, and other NGO's, conducted extensive undercover operations to gather critical intelligence and evidence. Their efforts led to the successful rescue of 25 women and 6 minors, as well as the arrest of 10 traffickers. Detective Reyes received the prestigious "Best Case of the Year" award from the Green Heart Foundation after a panel of officials reviewed hundreds of criminal cases across Colombia, earning significant national media attention. This operation exemplifies the powerful synergy between CIRF and the Colombian National Police in their united fight against criminals targeting vulnerable children. Outstanding work, team!
